Joana Choe is ReproTech’s Site Director for our Northeast region facility in Trumbull, CT. She first joined ReproTech at the Reno, NV location in 2018 and was Assistant Site director prior to accepting the position in CT. Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Joana earned a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Nevada, Reno. The ReproTech accomplishment Joana is most proud of is the implementation of more electronic task management systems while at ReproTech Nevada. An area of great interest to her has been the technical and laboratory knowledge acquired while working with clinic staff. Working with clinics and learning more about real-world IVF and fertility preservation applications have provided context to the lectures she attended at university. Before her work with ReproTech, Joana was a university lab assistant studying gene expression in immune cells of human stomach in diabetic patients. Joana enjoys spending time and eating good food with her family and friends. In her free time, Joana cultivates her passions learning more about science, history, finance and hangs out with her cat.
