February 26, 2014 - ReproTech, Ltd. was invited to exhibit at the North Texas Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's 9th annual Lone Star Blood Cancer Conference at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.
Over 800 patients, survivors, caregivers and healthcare professionals attended the free conference that focused on education on disease management and survivorship issues.
With the increase in cancer survivorship rates and the recent advances in Assisted Reproductive Technology, more and more cancer patients are making the decision to preserve their fertility. ReproTech's goal is to educate oncology and other healthcare professionals on the importance of discussing Fertility Preservation with their patients at the time of diagnosis.
ReproTech, Ltd. has organized its Fertility Preservation Network to educate oncology professionals and caretakers, as well as provide much needed cryopreservation services. The network includes members in 34 states and the Caribbean. Additionally, the work of LiveSTRONG, including its LiveSTRONG Fertility Programs, has advanced the awareness of the need for Fertility Preservation among the oncology community.
